“The Maormer are native to the island kingdom of Pyandonea, an archipelago in the southern ocean.”
I really enjoy creating beautiful Sea Elves, this is the same model I used for my Illidan and Sea Elf Captain outfits. He looks pretty incredible as a pirate covered in tattoos. The Pirate Costume Pack is one of my favourite outfit packs. I love how the dye shows up on the clothing, it always seems to look nice no matter what colour you use.

My mother is Russian, and like everyone whose parents, grandparents and beyond who have moved countries, I have a deep love and longing for a culture I belonged to but was never apart of.
The Kokoshnik is a large, beaded tiara that can come in many shapes, sizes and colours. I’ve decided to dye mine Gold, this dress picks up colour very strangely and was challenging to dye.
This toon is one of the first I ever created, so she has strange proportions, facial and body, which is why I’m now so careful in character creation. I wanted to create a new model but I’ve run out of room & deletes. The Wedding dress has puffy sleeves and can look strange on characters with a large torso. I’ve found that the Duchess personality can help this.
As I was shooting this scene, a member of the Asssasins Guild was kind enough to keep ‘removing’ all the respawning priests for me so I could take these photos. Thank you, to the Assassin in blue, I didn’t catch your name.

In ESO, you can dye both armour & costumes. I’ve compiled a list of the easiest dyes to collect, as the Achievements menu can be a little overwhelming. This is aimed at newer players with some knowledge of the game, however even the most seasoned player might have missed some of these.
Dying Clothing can be done at a Dye Station, which are generally located in major cities near crafting stations.
Every ESO player can dye their Armour
ESO+ (Subscriber) Players can dye their Armour & Costumes
Join the Undaunted – Dried Blood Brown
Join the Mages Guild – Mages Guild Blue
Join the Fighters Guild – Fighters Guild Red
Reach Level 10 – Novice Tan
Reach Level 20 – Apprentice Blue
Complete Main Quest Chapter 1 – Soul Shriven Grey
Complete Main Quest Chapter 2.5 – Soul Gem Purple
The main quests are usually pretty simple, but can be a little time consuming with a lot of chatter. You will get these quests as soon as you enter Tamriel (Level 3) after Character Creation & Cold Harbour. After that, the Prophet will pop up in your location every 5 levels for further Main Quests.
Acquire a Superior Quality Item – Ransacker Blue
Acquire an Epic Quality Item – Pillager Purple
You will get these as you progress through the game or pick up a cheap one from your Guild Bank or Store.
Research a trait for any Weapon/Armour type – Amethyst Violet
Research every available Trait at least once – Moonstone White
While crafting, click the Research tab. You may use a weapon/armour in your inventory and ‘reasearch’ it’s trait. Researching them all may take some time, but it’s good to get a head start if you want to learn as many dyes as possible. Your Crafting Achievements tab will show you ones you have/haven’t researched.
Deconstruct 50 items – Forge Ember Red
You will acquire a lot of junk weapons throughout the game, going into the craft menu and click the Deconstruct tab, here you can destroy these items for crafting materials. This will go fairly quickly as you progress through the game, as my CP Level 60 has already deconstructed 960+ items.
Harvest any crafting material 10 times – Dragonthorn Yellow
Harvest any crafting material 50 times – Hyacinth Pink
Another simple one, just harvest everything you see.
Refine 30 Raw Materials – Bugloss Blue
Once you collect 10 of a raw material, you can refine it in the crafting menu.
Use any Racial Style Motif – Book Cover Brown
Learn all Alliance Racial Style Motifs – Motif Pattern Blue
You will pick these up as you go through the game, however again I’d recommend Guild Stores & Banks. I’ve seen most of them go for 20-250 gold. You’ll only need the Motif for the starting 10 races, the Imperial one may be the most challenging one to acquire.
Learn 10 Recipes – Battaglir Green
Learn 50 Recipes – Shein Violet
This one is fairly simple, I’d recommend joining a Guild and checking out the Guild Store or Bank, as they can go for as little as 15 gold each. I wouldn’t purchase from NPC Merchants, as they are expensive for newer players.
Become a Werewolf – Wolf Fur Brown
Become a Vampire – Noxophilic Black
I am lucky enough to have found a guild that is quite enthusiastic about Vamps & Werewolves. I’d suggest asking a guild mate or even in zone chat if anyone can help you transform. You’ll need to complete a short quest aswell. Remember to level them as you go, as you’ll receive another dye for both when you hit skill level 10)
Help capture a resource and a Keep in Cyrodil – Heartlands Umber
Once level 10, you will be able to join the fun in Cyrodill. Join a large group and follow them around as they take resources & keeps. Cyrodil can be confusing for new players but it’s something you pick up as you go, don’t get too disheartened. Remember to join the ‘Under Level 50’ Campaign if needed.
Earn the Rank of Volunteer in the Aliance War – Volunteers Iron
This is the first rank of the PVP Alliance War Zone of Cyrodil. As I said above, join a large group and just follow them around until you figure out what’s going on. I’m a PVP noob but am rank9 just by hanging around healing and doing damage from a distance.
Discover all Striking Locales in Khenarthi’s Roost – Khenarthi Red
Discover all the Striking Locales in Stros M’kai and Betnikh – Hunding Gold
Discover all the Striking Locales in Bleakrock and Bal Foyen – Netch Jelly Blue
These are discovery quests for the starter zones, no killing needed. A Striking Locale is the the ‘Eye’ symbols on the map, walk up and discover them (sometimes you have to get close for it to work). When you leave the starter zones, continue to discover as many of these as possible as they’re needed for Master Explorer Achievements. There are about 3 in each starter zone and about 6 in the others. (Netch Jelly Blue is my favourite!)
“When I am Queen, I will have the power to get rid of you”
I tried to create this outfit a long time ago however I just didn’t have enough dyes to bring it to justice. After months of questing, dailies and dolmen grinding I’ve finally come up with a Jasmine I’m happy with. Her outfit is Necromancer Blue, a rare dye you will receive from defeating Molag Bal in Coldharbour. You will need to be level 50, complete main quests in the Harbourage and then the main quest in Coldharbour. It is no small task but was very worth it in the end. I’ve chosen the Orsinium Ponytail and the Scarab Circlet, the colour matches so much more than the bulky Azure Brow to Temple Circlet which I received from a Crown Crate.

“The fire from the lake of ice, the tide of dead horkers. Now the moon itself has turned blood red.”
Secunda is the smaller moon of Nirn, and is also the default name of the Moonlight Senche Tiger Non-Combat Pet found in the Crown Store. This outfit is another Desert Garden Gala Overdress used as formal winter wear, something I’d love to see more of. You can’t really see the Elvish Braid, though it’s a regrettable purchase from the Crown Store. As I’ll never play a Khajiit.

“Those born under this sign are the most blessed and the most cursed”
This is the first Argonian I’ve uploaded, I find it is quite difficult dressing these reptilian creatures. I hate to admit it, but they scare me. I’m not a massive fan of the beast races of Tamriel, give me Humans and Elves anyday. I won the Feathered Headdress from a Crown Crate and just think it’s the most beautiful cosmetic an Argonian could wear. I’ll definitely be using it in the future.
You could replace the Black Marsh Keeper costume with the Argonian T1 Light Armour. Lamae white gives the costume a blue-ish sheen. It’s a truly beautiful dye and I recommend it if you can handle your toon looking like a vampire until you max the skill line out.

This outfit is somewhat inspired by an outfit in Lord of the Rings Online, another great game that has an excellent clothing cosmetic system. The LOTRO Yule event is something I love and played it every year since 2012. It feel like forever since the Desert Garden Gala Overdress was released in the files, yet only in the past week has it finally been made available in the store. It’s a gorgeous & intricate robe with long sleeves and a large belt at the waist. In this outfit, the ‘Desert Garden’ is now in the middle of winter. I’m longing for colder weather, as I live in Australia and the summer seems to last a life time.
I feel this dress could be used in the snow just as much as the desert. Since Hew’s Bane & The Gold Coast, we’ve had a plethora of beautiful summer costumes. I’d love some formal winter wear. The Sun’s Dusk Winter Hood does not dye well. I wish I’d known this when I bought it, as I probably would’ve changed my mind.
